BUKOVICKA SPA

The most attractive part of Bukovicka spa is the Park. By its design and richness of flora it is among the most beautiful parks in Serbia.
It was arranged as European parks with geometrical structure, designated paths, and planted trees to preserve the natural look of the area. Mineral water springs (Djula, Talpara, Pobeda …), baths and hotels (Staro zdanje, Sumadija) are located in the park.

"Staro Zdanje" (the Old Edifice) is the oldest preserved building in Bukovicka Banja Spa, a representative example of Serbian Romanticism architecture. Today it is a hotel and the symbol of Arandjelovac that appears in its coat of arms, prospectus leaflets and postcards.

Since 1996, the Park is the place where the largest collection of sculptures in the open area is located.

THE CAVE OF RISOVACA

In the southeast area of Arandjelovac, on the right side of the river Kubrsnica is located The Cave of Risovaca, an archeological, palaeontological and spelaeological site. By the decision of the Republic of Serbia Assembly, The cave of Risovaca was categorized as a valuable place and ranked among the fixed cultural assets of special importance for the history and culture of Serbia. In 1995, the area of 13ha around the cave of Risovaca was proclaimed as monument of nature which has benefitted from the protection of the state.

ORASAC

The village of Orasac, where the First Serbian Uprising against Turkish rule was agreed upon and initiated by torching of a Turkish tavern in 1804, entered the history book of Serbia as one of its sacred places of freedom, the place of the first action taken by the great Serbian revolution.
A church, commemorative school and fountain, dedicated to the memory of the uprising and choosing of Karadjordje for its leader and the commencement of the actions of insurgents, were built in this village, thus creating a memorial compound of buildings proclaimed for the protected cultural wealth. By the decision of the Republic of Serbia Assembly, Orasac was categorized as a valuable place and ranked among the fixed cultural assets of special importance for the history and culture of Serbia.
